Kim Kardashian Paris Robbery: French Police Arrest Several Suspects
It’s been over three months since reality star Kim Kardashian was held at gun point and robbed of her possessions in a hotel room in Paris.
French police are finally getting somewhere in their investigation, arresting several people in connection with the armed robbery that occurred on October 3 last year.
On Monday, January 9, a total of fifteen people were arrested regarding the Kim Kardashian robbery. Traces of DNA were left behind in the apartment that the mom-of-two was staying in, where she was gagged and bound at gun point before $10 million worth of jewellery was stolen.
Reports claim that raids took place at different locations across the capital city at about 6am this morning, with many of the suspects thought to be held for questioning by French authorities over what really happened that night.
It’s not yet known if any of the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star’s jewellery has been recovered, or indeed whether it’s been sold on.
The gangsters are thought to have disguised themselves as police officers in order to enter Kim’s Paris apartment, only to then hold the TV star-turned-model and businesswoman at gunpoint and make off on bicycles once the jewellery was stolen.
None of the suspects have been named, but it’s reported that a few of them are over aged 50, one being a 60-year old man, and a few women are said to have been taken into custody too in what seems like a very organised and planned out attack against the reality figure.
The 36-year old has since kept out of the public eye following the trauma of the robbery, which left her shaken but thankfully physically unharmed.
Usually documenting her whole life on social media channels, the Kardashian sister has only just recently regained her online presence since the shocking incident.
Although she hasn’t spoken out much in the press about the attack, the preview for the upcoming series of KUWTK on E! seems to show the social media superstar, married to famous rapper Kanye West, recall the attack in detail. It’s clear that she is still traumatised by what happened in October of last year.
They’re going to shoot me in the back. There’s no way out. It makes me so upset to think about.
The suspects are reportedly going to be held for questioning on the attack for up to four days, with the investigation still ongoing.
