Margot Robbie Looks Unrecognizable In Scenes For New Film Role

Who’s that girl? Australian actress Margot Robbie has been spotted looking totally different on set of upcoming movie I, Tonya.

Playing the lead role of iconic skating legend Tonya Harding, Margot has undergone a major transformation to really get into her new character.

Known for roles in big Hollywood hits such as The Wolf of Wall Street and Suicide Squad, the world is used to seeing Margot’s girl-next-door looks.

But she’s now sporting a whole different image.

The blonde beauty was photographed on set of the 2018 movie wearing a fat suit and extra padding to represent the muscles and broader look that Tonya had during the peak of her skating career.

Her hair also looks a lot frizzier and thicker thanks to the newly added hair extensions, making the Neighbours actress unrecognisable from her usual self.

The actress also wore typically eighties style clothing, a sign of what to expect from the highly anticipated film.

The newlywed – who married her long-term partner Tom Ackerly in a private wedding ceremony over Christmas – is not just taking on the lead role in the biopic movie. She has also turned her attentions to producing for the upcoming film.

The biographical movie will tell the story of how famous U.S. figure skater Tonya Harding’s life changed when her husband, Jeff Gillooly, hired a hitman to attack fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan.

Harding’s sporting career changed forever and she was banned from skating after she tried to deny her husband’s wrongdoings.

Robbie’s husband Tom is also helping to produce the forthcoming movie which is set to be released next year.

The adorable couple met each other in 2014 on set of Suite Francais and decided to get hitched in December of last year in Byron Bay.

Although they have kept the majority of their relationship out of the public eye, Margot hinted that they’d finally tied the knot in an Instagram post showing a picture of her wedding ring.
