Family Lived In A Car Garage For Years Before Discovering The Mothers Second Job
Rina Dixon, like many women, found it extremely difficult to support her family financially after her husband was murdered in 2007.
Unfortunately, despite working two jobs, she struggled to pay her rent as well as looking after her three growing children. This meant that she was forced to move out of their family home and it’s a cramped garage space at her mother’s house.
Dixon realised she needed to do something dramatic to turn her family’s life around.
For the next three years, she would work a third job which would pay off in a huge way.
Originally from Sacramento, California, Dixon worked her fingers to the bone in order to provide everything her family needed. However, when her husband was tragically killed, her two boys were aged just one and two years old, and with one other daughter, she was left to raise her family single-handedly.
