After Harry Potter – Twenty Amazing Post-Potter Reveals From J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series officially came to an end in 2007 with the publication of the seventh and final novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Of course, the story of Harry, Hermione and Ron didn’t end there. Over the years, the author has expanded the universe greatly, and has regularly kept fans of the series updated with news of what happened to her beloved characters after the curtain came down in 2007.
Here are twenty amazing post-Potter reveals from J.K. Rowling herself.
Arthur Weasley Helped Harry Get Sirius Black’s Bike Back
Sirius Black’s muggle motorbike was heavily damaged during Harry and Hagrid’s flight from being pursued by the Death Eaters. Hagrid attempted to fix the bike with the mending charm ‘Reparo’, but to no avail. The bike ended up at the Tonks House. Rowling later revealed that Arthur Weasley had taken the broken bike back to his shed and fixed it up again, eventually giving it back to Harry.
Harry And His Companions Got Their Own Frog Cards
In 2007, Rowling revealed that Harry, Ron and Hermione had all been honored with their faces on collectible Frog Cards as a thank you for destroying one of the most powerful Dark Wizards who had ever lived. Rowling revealed that the inscription on Harry’s card read: “The first and only known wizard to survive the Killing Curse, most famous for the defeat of the most dangerous dark wizard of all time, Lord Voldemort.” Way to go, Harry!
