Air Force One is the president’s aircraft that is bigger, better and faster than any other commercial aeroplane in the world.

The Amount Of Floors

Red State

There are very limited details about the interior of the plane for security reasons, but we do know there is three floors. The Boeing 747 has a middle floor that the president enters on and journalists and press enter via a door on the bottom floor.

Square Footage

Most first apartments span between 500 to 1,500 feet and the interior of Air Force 1 has 4,000 square feet of space.

Back Up Jet

There is a backup jet that will sometimes follow AF1 named E-4B. The jet is there incase of emergencies and will take over if anything was to happen to the president’s jet.
