Khloé is a television personality, entrepreneur, fitness pro and writer. She became famous by appearing on family reality show, 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' which premiered in 2007. She has since appeared in other television series that are based on the former, such as 'Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami' and 'Khloé & Lamar'. She runs a clothing and fragrance collection alongside her sister and ex-husband in addition to dabbling in other ventures such as hosting America's 'The X Factor' alongside Mario Lopez in 2012. Khloé has established herself as an entrepreneur beyond her screen personality. One of her notable moments was her wedding to Basketball Star Lamar Odom just one month after they had met. The wedding was publicized and Odom’s overdose in 2015 provided the opportunity for Khloé to step up beyond their differences, after filing for a divorce, and support Odom through his recovery, endearing her fans across the globe.

Khloé Alexandra Kardashian was born to Robert Kardashian (who was OJ Simpson’s defense attorney in 1994) and Kris Jenner, born Houghton, in Los Angeles California. She is of Armenian, American, Dutch, Scottish, English and Irish descent. She is the third of three girls, after sisters Kourtney and Kim and has a younger brother, Rob. Kris married Bruce Jenner, who had worn the Summer Olympics Decathlon in 1976, in 1991 soon after she had gotten a divorce from Robert Kardashian. Through the marriage, Khloé gained three step-brothers and a step sister in addition to two half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie. Bruce Jenner later transitioned into Caitlyn Jenner in a highly publicized reveal which earned her a personal reality show, ‘I am Cait.’

Khloé briefly attended Marymount High School where her sisters also went. She joined a home-based program to graduate with a GED at 17, a year earlier than she would have at high school. She credited her leaving to the fact that her sisters had graduated and she did not feel like she had any friends at the school.

Khloé’s rise to stardom is widely attributed to the leaking of Kim Kardashian’s sex tape with former boyfriend and singer Ray J. The release of the tape acquainted the world with the Kardashian family, including Bruce, Kylie and Kendall which led to the show ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ on E!. The show was a huge success and it birthed the 2009 spin off, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami which led to the opening of a D-A-S-H store in Miami.  Khloé, as well as Kourtney and Kim, has a business interest in the store. She also appeared on another spin off, Khloé and Kim Take New York in 2011 as well as Khloé & Lamar which also debuted in 2011 and Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons which was announced in 2014. Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons follows the two sisters and Scott Disick as the two move to the Hamptons and continue running their store in Miami.

Khloé, together with her sisters, teamed up with Natural Products Association in mid 2009 to create ‘Idol White’ which is a teeth whitening pen. The three have gone on to release a jewelry line (2010), a clothing line on Bebe in the same year which was dropped by Bebe in December of the same year and another clothing line on K-Dash on QVC. Khloé also released a unisex fragrance with then husband, Lamar Odom called ‘Unbreakable’ in 2011, closely followed by the release of another unisex fragrance, ‘Unbreakable Joy’ by the two in October of 2012.

Khloé did not stop at that. She hosted the US version of The X Factor during its second season alongside Mario Lopez. She also had a one-hour talk show where she would take requests and chat with her celebrity friends. She would have more on air time during the Maverick’s season when she and her husband Lamar would be in Dallas. Khloé has also been the host of Kocktails with Khloé since January 2016.

Khloé Kardashian has always been considered the smart one in the family. People have always thought she was the more sensible and relatable one. She was, for a long time, also considered the ‘fat’ one. Before Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé did not think much about her body image. Her parents and sisters accepted her as she was but her rise to stardom through the show thrust her in the limelight, where people thought she was on the heavier side. Khloé took this as a challenge instead of as a put down. She started working out and eating healthier, which according to her, led to the loss of a lot of weight which became very noticeable. Now people no longer refer to her as the ‘fat’ one due to her incredible transformation.

Khloé and her sister Kim are also fashion icons to women across the world. Their style is critically evaluated on social media and they have an image to maintain. Khloé’s closet is one of the popular rooms in her house as it is always neatly organized and has the latest in designer clothing that suit and compliments her body. Her sister Kim has mentioned in interviews that there are specific items she would definitely pick from Khloé’s closet if given the opportunity. The only challenge the audience faces with keeping up with Khloé’s style is the amount that they would have to fork out to get the same items. In short, it is a very expensive lifestyle that few, if any, can relate to.

Khloé’s reputation as the reasonable one in the family tanked when she attacked 19-year old actress Chloe Mortez, by allegedly posting a provocative, semi-nude photo of the girl. This started a Twitter war with artists such as Selena Gomez taking Chloe’s side while Kim backed her sister. Some justified Khloé’s actions as defending her family because Chloe had earlier attacked Kim Kardashian on social media for posing for nude photos. However, Khloé fell from the good graces of the majority who saw it as immature, especially for picking a fight with a girl ten times her junior, and distasteful because of the nature of the photo, which is rumored to be a fake.

Khloé is considered a businesswoman and a writer in addition to her on-screen roles. She has had her own share of a turbulent personal but public life especially with the divorce from ex-husband, Lamar Odom. Lamar Odom overdosed on drugs and was hospitalized for a considerable amount of time towards the end of 2015. Khloé was by his side all through the process and even in his recovery. They seemed to be working out their problems but it was not meant to be as they ended up divorcing. However, Khloé has continued to be supportive of Odom. She recently told her sisters that she had asked Odom whether he knew that he could actually die if he continued with his life of partying and drugs, topped off by hanging out with bad company. She recognized that he could be taking steps back after making so much progress but hinted that she would no longer be there at every beck and call to pick up the pieces. Khloé and Odom got married in September 2009, a month after they met. Their wedding was widely publicized and led to Khloé & Lamar, a TV series based on their lives. They filed for divorce in December 2013 and had signed the papers by July. However, Khloé opted to withdraw the petition when Lamar Odom overdosed so that she could take part in the decision making in medical-related matters and his recovery. They still remain friends.

In addition to Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian has dated other public figures over the years such as rapper French Montana and basketball player James Harden.  Most recently, she was rumored to be dating 23-year old NFL star Odell Beckham Junior but this turned out to be a hoax although it affected Beckham’s love life by adding drama. Khloé dated longtime friend, Trey Songz. They have admitted to dating casually and have been seen cozying up and were even been caught kissing in public on more than one occasion. She is currently dating NBA star Tristan Thompson as of September 2016.

Khloé is not a stranger to hospitals as she was also in a car accident in 2001 where she flew through the windscreen and suffered a concussion leading to long term memory loss. Her life is also not new to conflict as she was arrested for driving under the influence in 2007. She surrendered herself and got a sentence of up to thirty days in addition to joining an alcohol treatment program after her release from jail. She ended up staying only three hours in jail and was released due to overcrowding. Some of the other legal issues that the television personality has had over the years include being sued by a transsexual woman who claimed that Khloé and some other women had attacked her outside a club. A class action suit against a weight loss supplement, QuickTrim also included Khloé and Kim because they endorse the product.

Khloé brought to light the real threat that skin cancer is. She had to have a mole removed from her back because of a skin cancer scare which proved to be very traumatic for her. This crated awareness about the rising rates of skin cancer all over the world, mostly due to exposure to the sun and habitual tanning. Khloé can add this to her list of good deeds if it turns out to be a wakeup call from her audience as opposed to being just another limelight moment for her.

Khloé is vocal about being proud to be Armenian and has visited the Genocide memorial alongside her sister Kim and her brother in law Kanye West. During this visit, she was named North West’s godmother. When it comes to family, Khloé is close to her sisters and protective of them. She has had epic fights with Rob Kardashian over different issues including Blac Chyna and this has strained their relationship, allowing them to talk over the phone only when either of the other sisters visits.
