Princess Diana was born in 1961 in Sandringham, Norfolk. She was the third child of Viscount and Viscountess Althorn. Her father was a royal equerry for King George VI. Diana’s family grew up close to the royal Sandringham estate and it’s said that Prince Andrew was one of Diana’s childhood friends.
