Celine Dion Set To Join The Voice Season 12
She has one of the most distinct voices of all time, and now Celine Dion is bringing it to the competition that needs it most, The Voice U.S.
Dion revealed the news on Friday, January 27, that she will appear on the reality contest as Gwen Stefani‘s adviser for season 12.
The 48-year old, best known for iconic hits such as ‘The Power Of Love’ and ‘My Heart Will Go On’, appeared on the Today show alongside Stefani to tell her fans about their exciting collaboration for the NBC show.
It was clear the No Doubt singer was thrilled to have Celine Dion on her side, telling the viewers,
To get like the prize right here, everybody’s going to be so mad — the other coaches — that I got you… I am blown away by [her] unbelievable story. Having this unbelievable gift to be able to speak through music to the whole world.
But it seems the fascination and awe is mutual.
The French-Canadian singer is happy to be working with the blonde Voice judge.
I know Gwen very well. I know her career. I know how beautiful she is all the time.
Dion took to Twitter to share the news with her followers and show her excitement for her upcoming role on The Voice.

Gwen signed up to the reality show during season 7 as a coach, and then returned again for season 9 where she met her current boyfriend Blake Shelton.
In season 10, the ‘Hollaback Girl’ singer appeared as an adviser on the show for her new lover.
Season 12 is set to see Stefani as a judge again, with Blake, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine returning to their judging roles too.
NBC will air the new seasons on February 27, 2017.
