Queen Bey To Perform At The Grammys 2017
Just a day after announcing that she’s expecting twins, it’s now been revealed that Beyoncé is set to perform at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
The superstar will take to the stage, along with her growing baby bump, at the biggest night in the music industry’s calendar this year.
Her very proud father, Matthew Knowles, was the one to reveal the news in a recent interview with an American TV show.
He explained that his daughter is very tired at the moment from the constant rehearsals to get her Grammys performance right.
The 65-year old also explained that he too was ‘shocked’ by Beyoncé’s pregnancy news, saying he only found out at the same time as the rest of the world did through her Instagram post.
Mr Knowles went on to say that he has since had a ‘wonderful daughter-dad conversation’ with the ‘Love On Top’ singer, and is of course thrilled for her and husband Jay-Z.
As well as giving a killer performance at the Grammys this year, Queen Bey is also up for an impressive nine awards at the event.
This year’s Grammys are set to take place in Los Angeles, being broadcast live from the Staples Center on February 12.
Bey’s incredible album Lemonade will face Adele’s number one record 25 in the Album of the Year category, with them both hoping to come out on top.
She will also face the ‘Someone Like You’ singer in the Song of the Year category too, with Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ being a well-deserved nominee this year.
Her Instagram post – which revealed to her fans that there will be two new additions to the Carter family – has since become the most liked photo ever on the social media site, gaining over 9 millions likes and counting.
The former Destiny’s Child lead singer didn’t stop there with the pregnancy news.
She went on to release more exclusive shots from her pregnancy shoot which see her posing underwater, on top of cars and even with her five-year old daughter Blue Ivy by her side.
The 35-year old mom announced the news to the Beyhive, saying,
We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.
