Actress Tori Spelling has welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world with husband and Chopped Canada host Dean McDermott.

The happy couple have named their adorable bundle of joy Beau Dean McDermott, with him being born on Thursday, March 2, via a scheduled C-section.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star, who first rose to fame as the character Donna Martin on the series in 1990, posted to Twitter to confirm the exciting news, saying,

We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family! Please join us in welcoming Beau Dean McDermott.

The actress’s rep confirmed that she was pregnant in October of last year, with the couple themselves announcing there was a boy on the way in December.

Tori, who’s most recent work includes hit TV series Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?, has been sharing her pregnancy journey on her Instagram account over the past few months.

In January, the 43-year old mom shared a snap of her baby bump saying,

She also told her 754,000 followers how well she was feeling during her pregnancy, saying,

I feel the most comfortable, confident, natural, and beautiful when I am pregnant. The pregnant body is such a gift!

The McDermott’s got hitched over ten years ago in 2006 and despite knockbacks in their relationship – such as Dean having an affair in 2013 – the pair have always worked through their issues and held on to their marriage.

Talking to the Today show in March last year, Tori explained, ‘I wanted the fairy tale… I was like, ‘You know what? I love this man. I’m going to make this work.”
