Kris Jenner On Ex Caitlyn Jenner: ‘I Try To Be A Good Friend’

Kris Jenner has addressed her relationship with ex-hubbie Caitlyn Jenner, confirming that despite everything that has happened in recent years, the pair are now finally on good terms.

Talking to US Weekly, the 61-year old admitted that she’s learned how to be friends with Caitlyn, who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing transgender surgery in 2015.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star said,

I’ve really tried to be a good friend. I try to be very understanding of how it must feel like to navigate a big huge family. Relationships change all the time… I just try to be a good friend.

The former couple were married for 23 years before Kris filed for divorce at the end of 2014 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.

The pair have two children together, models Kylie and Kendall Jenner, but Bruce was very much a father figure to Kris’s remaining children – Kim, Khloé, Kourtney and Rob – from their late dad Rob Kardashian.

But it seems the reality star mom, who also doubles up as manager for her daughters, is finally moving on and coming to terms with her new life.

She has been dating Corey Gamble – who is 25 years her junior – since 2014.

When asked about the possibility of double dating with ex Caitlyn, Jenner responded with a firm ‘absolutely not’.

The glamorous Kris then went on to talk about the idea of getting married again, but didn’t seem too convinced by the possibility, saying,

I live my life by, ‘tomorrow’s not promised and today is really amazing.’ I’m really happy with how things are right now.

But her number one advice for those who do get married was,

It’s old fashioned, but never go to bed angry and always communicate — and a little fabulous lingerie doesn’t hurt!

The Kardashian-Jenner family rose to fame in 2007 when a leaked sex tape of Kim Kardashian and ex boyfriend Ray J became an internet hit.

Their reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians made its debut in October of the same year, and is now going into its thirteenth season on E!.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn Jenner, who has her own reality-documentary TV series named I Am Cait, is due to go on a book tour this spring for her memoir The Secrets of My Life.
