Harry Styles New Album Finally Has A Release Date

He only made his comeback last week, but Harry Styles is already rising to the top of the charts.

Following the release of his debut solo single, ‘Sign of the Times’, Styles is giving us a preview of his album track list as well as a release date.

The album is due to hit the shelves on May 12.

And while he’s been pretty tight lipped on his debut record, we now know more about his return to music.

Styles’ latest Twitter post reveals his album artwork.

It shows a topless Harry facing away from the camera.

It gives the edgy and artistic feel you would expect from the former 1D star, while also letting us know the album is less than a month away.

The track list includes songs titled ‘Carolina’ and ‘Ever Since New York’ which have got fans speculating he has written songs about his exes Caroline Flack and Taylor Swift.

2017 is going to be a huge year for the 23-year old.

He makes his film debut this summer, starring in Christopher Nolan’s war film Dunkirk.

It’s hitting our screens on July 21, and Harry plays the role of troop member Alex.

Styles has a record deal with Columbia Records and is a huge excitement for the label.

CEO Rob Stringer said of his signing,

We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready. We obviously want everything to be beautifully done, because we think he’s here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic.

His debut single is influenced by music icons such as David Bowie and Queen.

He is the fourth member of One Direction to tackle a solo career in the music industry.

Zayn Malik‘s solo career has seen him top the charts, both with his single ‘Pillowtalk’ and his debut album.

Harry travelled to Jamaica to record most of his record, and has the same record producer as Kanye West.

We can’t wait to finally listen to the self-titled album next month!
