Bow Wow Admits The Reason Behind His Fake Private Jet Instagram Post

Bow Wow sent Twitter wild earlier this week after lying about boarding a fancy private jet to NYC, when in reality he jetted off to the Big Apple the same way most of us do – in economy.

After a fan busted him for lying to his 3.4 million followers on Instagram with a snap he actually acquired from a trusty Google image search, the internet went crazy.

While it may have given us one of the best hashtags of the year – #bowwowchallenge – most of us are wondering what on earth the 30-year old was thinking.

The Real

Well, he is finally speaking out about the ordeal in a recent interview on Hot 97.

Chatting on the ‘Ebro in the Morning’ show, the singer reveals there is a reason behind his outright lie, saying,

“I love it, because people don’t understand the scientific method to my madness.”

And it seems the Like Mike star, real name Shad Moss, pulled the public stint due to his upcoming show.

“I’m about to have the biggest show on WE TV, period. It’s a scientific method to my madness.”

“You gotta just watch the show. Everything’s for the show.”

That’s all the ‘Take Ya Home’ star had to say on the controversial matter.

But it’s left fans wondering whether Bow Wow is just trying to cover his tracks, or if he’s indeed telling the truth.

One fan certainly isn’t convinced by his explanation, tweeting,

“I’d believe NASA landed a man on the sun before I believe Bow Wow.”

While another Bow Wow admirer had his back, saying,

“Why are [people] surprised Bow Wow posted a picture depicting a false lifestyle?”

And maybe Bow Wow’s stint is all to prove just how fake social media can be.

Another tweeter had this to say,

“I don’t know one single person that is 100% truthful on social media.”

The rapper is yet to delete the Instagram post, proving he is sticking by his story.
