Little Mix And Stormzy Announce Surprise Collaboration

The Little Mix girls are absolutely owning it with their latest album Glory Days.

Ahead of their next single, ‘Power’, the foursome have announced some extremely exciting news.

While the girls hold their own in the charts, they’ve had some chart-topping hits with other artists too.


From Missy Elliot to Sean Paul, some of their best work has come out of sharing the studio with another pop star.

To mix things up in one of the most mind-blowing collaborations of the year, they are joining forces with today’s biggest grime star, Stormzy.

The 23-year old hip hop artist has been working on a new version of the track from their fourth album.

Perrie, Jade, Jessy and Leigh-Anne took to Twitter to announce the news.

And they had fans on the edge of their seats, releasing a video of the group chat trying to decide who to team up with.


Band member Perrie excitedly suggests that they should ask Stormzy, to which her bandmates instantly agree.

And to confirm the news is for real, the four beauties released another video shortly afterwards.

They told their 8 million Twitter followers,

“You heard RIGHT! The new version of Power will feature the one and only Stormzy.”

But the even better news? We only have to wait a week until we get to hear it.

UK grime star Stormzy – real name Michael Omari – has also spoke out about their collaboration.

However, despite most Little Mix fans being over the moon with the news, some of Stormzy’s fans aren’t convinced.

One tweeter suggests this is the end of Stormzy’s success, saying,

But the chart-topping artist stuck up for himself, telling fans he respects Little Mix and rates them more than some rappers.
