Ariana Grande has reportedly offered to pay for the funerals of the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack that has claimed the lives of 22 people and critically injured a further 120.

Nine victims have been named so far, including eight-year-old Saffie Roussos, 18-year-old Georgina Callander and 15-year-old Olivia Campbell.

Ariana has subsequently suspended the rest of her Dangerous Woman world tour and was said to have been in hysterics and inconsolable following the attack in the foyer of the arena.

It was also reported that the American pop-star was taken to hospital following the tragic event due to trauma, but this is yet to be confirmed.

Grande took to Twitter just hours after the attack to express how sorry she was but has not given a formal statement.

Her tweet received a lot of engagement from people all over the world expressing their condolences and assuring Ari that none of this was her fault.

Mancunian comedian Jason Manford was one of many supporters who replied to the singer’s tweet with this very poignant message:

Ariana’s incredible gesture is yet to be confirmed but it has been reported that the singer has been in contact with the victims’ families and offered to pay for their funerals.

The singer’s representatives have been contacted by various media outlets but are yet to comment – but the rumours are spreading fast…

Regardless of whether or not Ariana has made the offer, we can only hope that the singer, the families of the victims and the thousands of traumatised fans have continued support at this difficult time.
