Beyonce’s Dad Ruined The Twins’ Arrival Announcement And The Beyhive Aren’t Happy
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins have finally arrived.
And while the world is beyond happy for the healthy arrival of the Carter twins, some of the Beyhive are annoyed about how they found out the news.
Queen Bey’s dad, Matthew Knowles, took to Instagram to announce the birth of his newest granddaughters.
But the 65-year old businessman got himself into trouble with his daughter’s hardcore fans who thought the ‘Lemonade’ singer should have been the one to share the news herself.
He shared a snap of a birthday card that read, “Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad’, along with the caption ‘they’re here!’
And even though his Insta-post confirms the exciting arrival, some fans have been left unimpressed.
One wrote in the comments,
I am very happy that the babies are here, he just does not have a right to confirm the news before Bey… She is a grown woman and her decision to keep the news private for now should be respected.
And others seem to agree.
Just because he is her dad does not give him the right to reveal whatever he wants to about her life as if she is a child. She is 35 years old, if she wants her life to be private that decision should be respected. period.
Another slammed the grandfather, saying,
I really hope you had Beyonce’s permission to announce this because otherwise you are so far out of line. It’s Beyonce’s news and if she felt ready to announce the birth she would have done it by now.
But other fans have stuck up for Bey’s dad, saying,
It could be the grandparents or the mother or the father. There’s no tradition.
And another targeted those making hateful comments, saying,
Instead of being mad because Beyoncé didn’t announce it be happy for her maybe she wanted her father to do it anyways I’m sure he would ask her.
US Weekly confirmed that Beyoncé and her rapper hubby welcomed a boy and a girl on Monday, June 12.
The ‘Love on Top’ star announced her pregnancy in February in an explosive photoshoot debuting her bump.
We would like to share our love and happiness, we have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.
