Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Make Huge Decision For The Future Of Their Family
Kim has previously been diagnosed with placenta accreta, a condition that could potentially become life threatening if she goes through another pregnancy.
But with the couple’s desire to add to their family of four still being strong, they’ve chosen to have a surrogate birth instead.
They’ve found the surrogate mom through a reliable agency, and are going to pay over $113,000 to get their wish of a third baby.
If more than one child is conceived through the surrogate, a further $5k will be paid per newborn.
And if she loses any reproductive organs during her pregnancy with the reality star’s baby, the millionaire couple will owe a further $4,000.
Even though the surrogate is getting a pretty hefty pay out for helping Kim and Kanye, she also has to follow very strict rules while pregnant.
She is understandably not allowed to smoke, drink alcohol or take drugs during the nine months.
And the celebrity power couple are certainly taking no risks when it comes to the health of baby number three.
The surrogate is refrained from any sexual activities, and cannot go in hot tubs, saunas, change cat litter, dye their hair, drink more than one caffeinated drink per day or eat raw fish.
Kim, 36, and her rapper hubby will be required to pay a $68,000 deposit, followed by monthly instalments.
The social media starlet, who has just released her own beauty range titled ‘KKWBeauty’, has spoken openly about wanting another child on the E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Despite going through two very traumatic pregnancies due to placenta accreta, it hasn’t deterred the brunette beauty from wanting another child.
Once the realisation had sunk in that a natural birth may be totally out of question, the eldest of the Kardashian sisters started looking at surrogacy as an option instead.
She revealed on a KUWTK episode,
I think that I always knew that surrogacy was an option but I didn’t think it was that realistic of an option. Now I feel like that’s my reality. I feel like surrogacy is really the only other option for me.
It’s not yet clear when the surrogacy procedure will start, but we sure can’t wait for Nori’s and Saint’s younger sibling to arrive.
