Jay-Z Admits To Cheating On Beyonce In New Album 4:44 And Says ‘Lemonade’ Is True

Beyoncé sent the whole world into a frenzy last year when she released her video-album Lemonade.

With endless hints that Jay-Z has been unfaithful, and everyone wondering who on earth ‘Becky with the good hair’ is, it’s definitely some of Bey’s best work yet.

And even though the power couple have came out stronger since the rumours emerged, recently welcoming their newborn twins, Bey’s hubby’s new album seems to be a response to the controversial Lemonade.

The American rapper dropped his latest record 4:44 today and has left the Beyhive wondering whether it’s an apology album to his wife of nine years.

4:44 is now available to download on his streaming service Tidal.

But his revealing lyrics have got fans speculating that the infidelity rumours are true.

After Queen Bey addressed the infamous incident where her sister Solange attacked Jay-Z in an elevator – reportedly over him being unfaithful – he has also wrote about the highly publicised event.

In the song ‘Kill Jay Z’, he raps,

You egged Solange on, knowing all along all you had to say you was wrong / You almost went Eric Benet, let the baddest girl in the world get away … I don’t even know what you woulda done, in the future, other n**gas playing football with your son.

Eric Benet, the R&B singer and actor, famously cheated on his wife Halle Berry in the early 2000s.

But that’s not the only track that hints at his supposed affair.

In his song ‘Family Feud’ he also references the unidentified ‘Becky’ that Bey sings about on her track ‘Sorry’.

Yeah, I’ll f**k up a good thing if you let me / Let me alone Becky!

Since the rapper’s album dropped this morning, ‘Lemonade’ has been trending on Twitter.

One fan wrote,

This is Jay-Z’s version of Lemonade. Grapeade or some s**t.

And others are in disbelief that Jay-Z has pretty much admitted he strayed from his wife.

I thought Beyoncé was lying about Jay Z on cheating on Lemonade but he came out and said he did.

I always thought Lemonade was Bey mind f**king the industry but Jay really admitted to cheating on 4:44… this wasn’t part of the plan.

While one fan sees the married couple’s separate albums as the perfect opportunity for a collaborative tour.

This would be the perfect time for a joint tour. OTR was so good. Just imagine the story that Lemonade and 4:44 would tell collectively.

Yet despite the couple’s explosive lyrics, neither one have ever confirmed the cheating rumours.

With the birth of their baby twins, reportedly called Shawn Jr. and Bea, it seems Beyoncé and Jay-Z are happier than ever.

Bey’s dad, Matthew Knowles, was the one to confirm the arrival of the twins.

He posted to Instagram saying ‘they’re here!’.
