Taylor Swift Breaks Social Media Silence To Congratulate Selena Gomez

Taylor Swift has been keeping herself out of the public eye in recent months yet she’s finally broken her social media silence today.

The country star turned pop sensation has always shared her every move with fans.

And with her being known for her revealing lyrics about past relationships, it’s clear she’s not the sort of girl to keep quiet.

But this year Taylor has been laying low and her ‘Swifties’ are hating every second.

Thankfully, we’ve finally heard from the ‘Shake it Off’ star today as she took to Instagram to shout out to Selena Gomez.

The 27-year old congratulated her bestie on her new single, ‘Fetish’, as well as wishing her a happy birthday.

She wrote,

Sultry pop magic from this dreamy almost-birthday girl.

But if you take a look back over T-Swift’s Instagram over recent months, she seems to be using it as a platform to solely support her girl squad.

A couple of months ago she shared a screenshot of Haim’s new single ‘Want You Back’, saying,

On. Repeat. Til. The. End. Of. Time.

And before that, we hadn’t heard from her since March when she celebrated the release of Lorde’s comeback single, ‘Green Light’.

It’s thought Taylor is currently working on her seventh studio album.

And it seems she’s been all caught up in a new romance with British actor, Joe Alwyn.

Selena‘s new song is undoubtedly her steamiest yet, and with a name like ‘Fetish’ there’s no surprise.

Her new hit, featuring Gucci Mane, is definitely a contender for song of the summer.
