Cara Delevingne Thanks Her ‘Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets’ Co-Stars Following The Star-Studded Premiere

Cara Delevingne is well and truly making a name for herself in the acting realm, but her recent lead in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets looks to catapult her even higher in the film industry.

She’s gone from having small on-screen appearances, such as in 2012’s Anna Karenina, to being the face of blockbuster hits like Paper Towns and Suicide Squad.

And now she’s putting her talents to the sci-fi genre. Her recent role sees her play Lauraline in Luc Besson’s film version of the classic comic book series Valerian.

The star-studded cast, which also includes Dane DeHaan and pop sensation Rihanna, took to the red carpet in Los Angeles last night for the movie’s premiere.

And it seems Cara has a whole lotta love for her fellow Valerian cast.

Taking to Instagram today, Cara wrote,

Words cannot describe how I feel about these people standing with me, this movie and this whole experience. THANK YOU will never be enough.

Prior to the premiere, Cara shared a short clip of her and Dane, saying,

So excited for the @valerianmovie premiere tonight. Can’t wait for you all to see it on the 21st July.

The model turned on-screen superstar recently explained how excited she was to be part of a Luc Besson film.

She told ScreenRant,

I don’t know if I went in expecting anything other than the fact that I was just ready. Like, I was just going to go in open and ready to learn because it’s Luc Besson, for god’s sake! Like, you know, his movies are legendary! And as well with this, I didn’t even really realize the magnitude of the whole thing in terms of the studio, the space, the amount of work. And, you know, this is again a movie he’s wanted to make his whole life so, his knowledge behind it, his love and passion. It just, it’s impossible not to feel it. It’s infectious.

Besson has directed and produced some big-name films, from The Fifth Element to Lucy and Taken.
