Kim And Kanye Expecting Their Third Child Via Surrogate – And It’s Another Girl
After two high risk pregnancies the reality TV star who is already a mother to daughter, North, 4, and son Saint, 18 months, has opted for somebody else to carry her third child. A source revealed:
“The entire family is over the moon. Kim had been looking for a surrogate for months until recently when she found the perfect candidate,”
“Given her health scares in the past, Kim felt the need to hire a surrogacy agency that helped serve as the liaison in finding a healthy woman who would be a great surrogate option for her and Kanye. Both of them have been super involved in the process.”
“They want everything to be perfect and for the baby to be extremely healthy. They don’t want any complications and Kim is providing an ideal eating regimen and diet so everyone knows what the baby is consuming before it’s born.”
In her previous pregnancies Kardashian West has battled with her health, suffering from diabetes and placenta accrete.
The condition – which can be life threatening – develops when the placenta is attached too deep into the uterine wall.
This can mean haemorrhaging in labour.
In November 2016, during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed that she and her husband may have to consider the option of having somebody else carry her third child.
After meeting with two fertility specialists, Dr Wong admitted surrogacy was the best option for the reality star considering the risks of a third pregnancy for her.
“Using a surrogate is not an unreasonable option,” he said. “If our goal is to grow your family like you want to, then a surrogate makes sense.”
“If the two doctors that I trust have told me it wouldn’t be safe for me to get pregnant again, I have to listen to that,” said Kardashian West. “But because I don’t know anyone that has been a surrogate or used one, I didn’t really think about that as an option for me.”
It has been reported that the female is in her late ’20s and was referred to the couple by an agency.
The baby is expected in January 2018.
